James & Ellie B
This half term we will be venturing deep underground to explore the world of coal mining.
Our wicked question will let us discover different types of energy sources as we will be finding out if there is life after coal.
A trip to the National coal mining museum will enable us to live the life of a miner, go deep underground and discover what is coal? and how it is formed.
In English we will be immersing ourselves into the world of the Iron giant as we develop our literacy skills using character profiles and newspaper report writing.
This topic is going to be a lot of fun as we develop our History, Geography and Science skills to set up our own mining museum.
