Impact of our careers programme can be seen in our compliance check meeting.
- 100% of years 10, 11 and Post 16 students had face to face encounters with employers and employees in line with the Gatsby Benchmarks.
- A comprehensive personalised work placement programme is in place run by the transitions coordinator.
- We have a careers hub in the centre of Rotherham linking to the University and College.
- A review of the careers programme is completed through the robust MER cycle, PCRs, EHCP meetings and the data on positive employer encounters.
Yvonne Winstanley is the qualified Careers Practitioner for Nexus Multi Academy Trust. Yvonne comes in fortnightly to meet students from Abbey and WAVEE to talk to them about their future and support them with their transition to further education, training or suitable employment
