Topic

Lions, bears, wolves and even cats all have one thing in common - Paws, Claws and Whiskers.

This half term, we will be exploring the amazing animal kingdom, from the noble lion to the humble puppy. We will research how to look after animals, both big and small, and investigate the features of different animals to identify similarities and differences.

Using what we have learnt, we will write fact files and poetry all about the world's wonderful animals and create a short stop motion animation involving a wild animal.

Throughout this half term, we will be using our growing knowledge and considering the question, 'What happens if there aren't any pets?'.
