In Rights Respected the Rights we will be learning about are:
Article 6 - I should be supported to live and grow
Article 28 - I have the right to an education
Article 29 - I have the right to an education which develops my personality, respect for others, rights and the environment.
Article 23 - If I have a disability, I have the right to special care and education
Article 17 - I have the right to get information in lots of ways so long as it is safe
Article 36 - I have the right to be kept safe from things that could harm my development.
This term Wavee 1, Entry Level 1 learners will gather evidence to complete Unit 16: Exploring future options in the local community. This is where they will decide on a project to improve in their local community and complete the project to improve the green and blue spaces. Evidence will include photographic evidence and a portfolio of evidence they have created on their project.
Entry Level 2 learners will gather evidence to complete Unit 11: Communicating with others. This is where they will use the communication skills gathered to put on an event for an enterprise project. Using a variety of techniques to communicate being written, verbal or face to face. Learners will have the opportunity to peer and self-assess their communication skills in different scenarios.
Level 1 Learners will gather evidence to complete Unit 1: Developing a personal progression plan. They will provide a presentation to explain why creating a personal progression plan is important and why they have chosen their particular CPD options. Learners completed progression plan's will include a timescale of when certain aspects of the course need to be completed and self-assess WWW and EBI's.
This term Wavee 2, Entry Level 3 learners will be gathering evidence to complete Unit 14: Communicating with other people. This is where they will have the opportunity to put into practice the communication skills developed from last term. To do this they will communicate with other peers to put on a school fayre while working closely with the DT department to discuss enterprise projects. This will provide evidence of verbal and none verbal communication skills in a variety of situations.
Level 1 Vocational learners will be gathering evidence to complete Unit A1: Being organized. This is where they will have the opportunity to use skills developed to organise a school fayre a and create their own planner to diarise events. Evidence will also consist of priority lists, time schedules, resources needed and scenarios of communication to arrange the event.
This term Wavee 1, Entry Level 1 learners will gather evidence to complete Unit 1: Being aware of Job-related opportunities. They will use the skills and qualities gained to complete job-related scenarios. Learners will complete a portfolio of work on how their skills and qualities match the job related tasks with the opportunity to evaluate their peers progress.
Entry Level 2 Learners will gather evidence to complete Unit 1: Job recruitment process, where they will use skills gained to search for appropriate job roles and provide evidence of the recruitment process by completing application forms and CV writing. They will also explain how to prepare for an interview.
Level 1 Learners will gather evidence to complete Unit 2: Selecting and applying for a job. This is where learners will use their skills to explore appropriate job opportunities. They will complete the process of applying for specific job roles based on their skills and qualities. Evidence of this will be completed application forms or CV's. Role play of interview questions and a description of how to prepare for an interview.
This term Wavee 2, Entry Level 2 learners will be gathering evidence for Unit 3: Carry out job related tasks. This is where they will begin to carry out different work-related tasks within their work experience using skills and qualities identified in the previous term. Learners will complete an interview for their work experience this and will evaluate their own performance of the interview and the work they will carry out.
Level 1 Award Learners will gather evidence on Unit 2: Selecting and applying for a job, this will enable them to use the skills gained to search for an appropriate job role for and complete the recruitment process. They will have evidence of completing application forms or CV's and writing covering letters. They will also provide a statement of why the role they have chosen is appropriate and how it matches their skills and qualities.
Level 1 Extended Award Learners will gather evidence for Unit 13: Contributing to teamwork in the workplace, where they will have the opportunity to complete a work experience placement and use the experience to explain how they have worked well in a team. They will also discuss how they used organizational skills to
