The Abbey School Gym encourages pupils the develop their health and fitness and pursue and active lifestyle. The STEAM street roles within the gym are linked to pupils aspirations and as with all STEAM Street roles pupils have the chance to undertake them during, breaks, lunchtimes, careers and enterprise lessons and extra curricular activities. Interviews for roles in the gym were undertaken alongside representatives from JD Gyms to allow our pupils the opportunity to see where careers in health and fitness can lead.
