In the Spirit project, your child will learn some of the differences between the ancient and modern Olympic Games. They will research different countries that have hosted the Olympic Games and find out about some inspiring athletes. They will learn about mottos and how they help with motivation. Your child will learn about some Paralympic sports, including the game of boccia. They will also create an inclusive game and teach it to others. Your child will then present a bid for a UK city to host the Olympic Games, considering why it would be suitable and creating a motto and poster to support their pitch.
